First and foremost, you need to test the water hardness level to make sure it is safe for the machine. This is an essential step even if you have a smart water filter.
After that, fill the hopper with fresh coffee beans and lock the lid to preserve aroma. Then, add water to the tank before putting it back to the espresso machine. Do not forget to lock the water tank cover then.
If you prefer adding some milk to the drink, connect the Jura E6 to the frothing milk container via the milk pipe.
To start brewing cups of coffee, simply select the drink by pressing the buttons that correspond to the drinks shown on the TFT display. The screen will continue to show you the coffee strength as well as the amount of water, but you cannot change them there. To make adjustments, you need to go back to the Programming mode, or Expert mode.
